how it began

Coach Amanda Youell, founder and executive director of Attack Performance Academy in Boca Raton, is a visionary leader in youth and girls’ volleyball training. With over a decade of coaching and teaching experience, she is passionate about helping student-athletes reach their full potential on and off the court. Currently serving as the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at St. John Paul II Academy in Boca Raton, part of the Palm Beach Diocese, Coach Amanda brings a unique background in teaching, coaching, and playing professional beach volleyball. Known for her emphasis on discipline, functional movement, and emotional awareness, she creates a training environment that develops both strong athletes and strong leaders. At Attack Performance Academy, Coach Amanda is dedicated to breaking down barriers to opportunity by offering accessible, high-quality volleyball programs for youth athletes in South Florida. Her long-term vision is to establish a state-of-the-art training facility that empowers the next generation to thrive in sports, academics, and life.

Coach Jamison Evans

Head Coach

Coach Jamison Evans serves as the Head Coach for Attack Performance Academy, as well as, the JV Coach at Spanish River High School. His basketball journey led him to a standout collegiate career, where he spent 5 years leading the Fighting Knights of Lynn University. During this time, he developed a strong understanding of the game and developed the dedication required to excel. Coach Jamison also competed in top AAU circuits in Vermont, testing his skills against some of the best young talent in the country. His passion for the sport extended internationally, with playing experiences in Germany and Luxembourg that enriched his perspective on the game. 2019 brought Jamison the title of Vermont Gatorade player of the year. Coach Jamison has led basketball camps and worked with players of all ages to refine their skills and instill a love for the sport. He emphasizes the importance of discipline, teamwork, and basketball fundamentals, helping athletes grow both on and off the court. Jamison is dedicated to developing well-rounded individuals who can apply the lessons learned through basketball to all aspects of their lives.
